Aysha Afreen's Biography
Aysha Afreen is a teenage author whose imagination knows no bounds. When this gifted storyteller puts pen to paper, she brings to life a world of epic fantasies and mysteries. Her love for the written word began at a very young age, with late-night reading sprees, bedtime stories with her parents, and of course, all the wonderful tales she heard growing up in a family of readers and writers. She started writing her debut book, Curse of the Malignant—the first book of the ‘A Silverthorne legacy’ series—at the age of thirteen, proving to the world that age is just a number.
This young adult fantasy fiction revolves around the curse upon a town called Northacus.
When she isn’t flipping pages under a warm blanket, she is either collecting memorabilia, dreaming about her next story, or just lazing around watching her favorite shows. She loves listening to music, especially when she’s writing, and is always up for late-night drives with her family. She loves hanging out with her friends, who inspire her and root for her every step of the way. In her stories, you’ll see that the friendship between her characters is a reflection of her own feelings for her friends. Her other inspirations include her uncle, a graphic novelist; her grandmother, who writes beautiful stories for her; and her parents, who introduced her to the world of literature.
